I am currently working as a Founder at Cloudio9. My basic responsibilities are to get the company up and running, make a product that is profitable and manage it.

I have an Honors Bachelor of Science degree (with distinction) in Computer Science from University of Toronto. As part of a university program, I had a 20 months internship with Intelliware working primarily with JEE 5 and various Java technologies including Spring, Hibernate and Tapestry. I also worked extensively with Oracle as the primary database.

In my spare time I enjoy working with Python+Django and creating my own projects.

More About Me:

I was born in Hong Kong, but spent 4 years of elementary school in Canada. When I returned to Hong Kong I enrolled in an International school where English is the primary language of education. After graduating from high school I went on to study Computer Science in University of Toronto. There I spent 20 months interning with a software company and found my passion for writing great software.

Outside of programming I enjoy swimming, running and hiking. I also enjoy playing go, so you will find me on Kiseido Go Server playing games regularly under the handle ‘xairon’.
